vivo today launched V20, the company’s latest smartphone under the V series in India. With V series, vivo concentrates on good looks, great camera capabilities, and long-lasting battery life. Succeeding the V19, the V20 comes with a slimmer body, punch-hole display, and step up in design language as well. Also, check out our unboxing video on our FoneArena Tamil channel.

Box contents

  • Vivo V20 8GB + 256GB (Sunset Melody)
  • Clear case
  • Documents
  • USB Type-C cable
  • 33W adapter
  • Earphones

The back panel has an AG Matte Glass back with Chemical etching making it resistant to scratches and an AF coating that protects the phone from fingerprint smears. The Sunset Melody is our favorite since it shifts color from different angles when the light hits the panel. It is eye-catching!

On the front, we have a 6.44-inch (2400×1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and support for HDR 10.

The right side has power with a textured finish and volume buttons. The buttons are easy to reach if you prefer single-hand usage and the feedback is great too. At the bottom, we have a 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille. To the left, we have a SIM slot and up top, a secondary microphone.

Turning back, we have a triple camera module -64MP with f/1.89 aperture, 8MP wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP mono sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, we get a 44-megapixel shooter with an Eye Autofocus feature. The Eye Autofocus can track your eyes even when you are on the move; shifting smoothly between near and far vantages so you don’t need to stare at the camera to capture the greatest moments. Check out some camera samples below.

The vivo V20 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC and has 8GB of RAM. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB using microSD card expansion with a dedicated slot. The vivo V20 is shipped with Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11, one of the few phones right now with Android 11.

The whole hardware is powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It supports connectivity options including Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C.

The Vivo V20 comes in Moonlight Sonata, Midnight Jazz, and Sunset Melody colours are priced at Rs. 24,990 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs Rs. 27,990.
