OnePlus has finally launched its fitness band in India — OnePlus Band, marking its first step into the wearable market. The global fitness tracker market is expected to reach $62,128 million by 2023, registering a CAGR of 19.6%. OnePlus is the latest company to join the bandwagon to make use of the trend.

Priced at Rs. 2,499 (similar to Mi Band 5), OnePlus Band brings in all the much-needed features including SpO2 monitoring, 13 exercise modes, IP68 + 5ATM ratings, and much more.

Box contents

  • OnePlus Band
  • Charging dock
  • Documents (safety guide and warranty)
  • Red cable club card

The OnePlus Band sport the same design as any other fitness tracker with a TPU strap and a removable 1.1-inch AMOLED colour touch screen display, just like the Mi Band series. The touch screen feedback is excellent for this price, and the display looks bright as well with vibrant color and sharp text.

Turning back, we have a heart-rate sensor and a pogo-pin for charging the device. Unlike the Mi Band 5, which equips the hassle-free magnetic charging setup, the OnePlus Band requires you to pull out the display module separately from the strap to charge the battery.

The OnePlus Band comes with a Heart rate sensor, Blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring, Activity tracking, and Sleep tracking. The Band can track 13 Exercise modes: Outdoor Run, Indoor Run, Fat Burn Run, Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Rowing Machine, Cricket, Badminton, Pool Swimming, Yoga and Free Training as well.

It uses Bluetooth 5.0 LE to connect to Android 6.0 and above and soon for iOS with the OnePlus Health app. Other notable features include camera and music control, customisable watch face, Find My Phone, Zen Mode synchronization (with select OnePlus phone models), weather forecast, Message notifications, Incoming call notification, Incoming call rejection, and more.

Coming to the battery, the OnePlus Band is powered by a 110mAh battery that claims to offer around 14 days of battery life on a single charge. However, there is no information on the charging time yet. We will bring you in-depth information in our review soon.

The OnePlus Band comes in Black colour with a matching strap, is priced at Rs. 2499 and will be available via an early access sale for Red Cable Club members, from 9:00 AM IST on January 12, 2021, exclusively on and the OnePlus Store app.
