Enjoy baseball while you can, folks – the way things are going right now, the shortened 2020 MLB regular season might not even make it through August. Multiple games are being cancelled across the league after 11 Miami Marlins players tested positive for coronavirus over opening weekend, dampening the spirits of keen fans already eyeing up potential playoff scenarios and World Series contenders. There are still games being played every day, though – so don’t miss a single pitch. Follow our guide as we explain how to watch an MLB live stream the easy way.

MLB 2020 cheat sheet

The shortened 60-game 2020 MLB season takes place from Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, September 27. Each team will complete a 60 game schedule comprised of 40 divisional matchups and 20 regional interleague fixtures – AL East vs NL East and so on. The usual playoff format will follow the regular season in October, culminating in the World Series.

In 2019, the Washington Nationals won the World Series for the first time in the team’s history, defeating the Houston Astros in game seven of an epic series. This year, Yankees and slugger Aaron Judge enter as favorites to advance to the World Series from the AL, while the Dodgers and newly acquired superstar Mookie Betts are being tipped to represent the NL.
