POCO launched the POCO X2 smartphone in India last month running MIUI 11.0 Global Stable on top of Android 10. POCO X2 is the rebranded version of Redmi K30 4G which was launched in China back in December. The smartphone has already started receiving Android 10 based MIUI 12 update.

MIUI 12 brings all-new design and animations along with new features such as Super Wallpapers, Floating Window, New Control Center, Enhanced Privacy Protection features such as Interceptor, Flare, Hidden Mask Mode and more to the devices, check out this post to learn more about MIUI 12 features.

  • [Oct 19, 2020]: POCO has started rolling out MIUI 12.0.2.0.QGHINXM with October Android security patch. The update weighs 470MBs in size. [Download Link]
  • [Aug 7, 2020]: POCO has started rolling out MIUI 12 Stable update in India. The update comes as MIUI 12.0.1.0.QGHINXM and brings July Android security patch.   • [Jul 9, 2020]: POCO has started rolling out MIUI 11.0.11.0.QGHINXM with June Android security patch. The update weighs 173 MBs in size. [Download Link]

  • [Apr 10, 2020]: POCO has started rolling out MIUI 11.0.7.0.QGHINXM with March Android security patch. The update weighs about 473 MBs in size and brings app lock support for all the apps. [Download Link]

  • [Feb 24, 2020]: POCO GM, C Manmohan has confirmed that the device will receive Android 11 in the future.
  • [Feb 12, 2020]: POCO has started rolling out MIUI 11.0.4.0.QGHINXM update with January Android security patch. The update weighs 193 MBs in size and brings a fix for the issue that caused the Camera app crash in PRO mode. [Download Link]
  • [Feb 4, 2020]: POCO has released Android 10 based kernel source codes for POCO X2.

Note that POCO follows staged roll-out, so the updates are randomly pushed to a limited number of users and a broader roll-out usually takes a few days after the company makes sure there are no critical bugs.
