Last week Micromax confirmed its reentry into its smartphone segment with the new ‘in’ sub-brand. Today it has announced that it will launch range of smartphones under the brand in an online event on November 3rd.

Announcing its strategic re-entry into the smartphone segment, Micromax already said that it plans to invest Rs. 500 crore to build products from ground-up. It has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Bhiwadi and Hyderabad and has a capacity of producing over 2 million phones per month.
Micromax added that it is working on strengthening its already established retail and distribution network. Currently, it has a retail presence of more 10K+ outlets and over 1000+ service centres across India.
The company doesn’t reveal any details about the smartphones, but we still have over a week for the launch, so we can expect it to tease some features of the phones.
