Lufthansa plane suddenly drops – Matthew McConaughey with his wife on board

Due to unusually strong turbulence, a Lufthansa plane from Texas had to make an unscheduled landing in Washington on its way to Frankfurt. Several passengers were hospitalized. Also on board was US actor Matthew McConaughey and his wife.

CAmila Alves McConaughey (41), wife of Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey (53) described the couple’s experiences on a Lufthansa flight with severe turbulence. She posted a short video of the “chaos” on board the machine on Instagram on Thursday (local time). After landing in Washington and checking into a hotel, she and her husband just made it to the hotel bar, Camila Alves McConaughey told her followers. On Instagram-Story she posted another video in which she speaks into the camera with a worried expression. She is now on the onward journey and the pilot again warned of turbulence.
