iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max go on pre-order in India today with cashback offers

Apple introduced its iPhone 12 series smartphones in India last month. Today the company announced that it will start pre-bookings for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphones in the country online through Flipkart,  Amazon.in,  Apple India online store as well as Authorized Apple retailers offline from 6:30 PM today, November 6th.

These phones will be available through 3500 retail locations across India starting, 13th November. In keeping with social distancing norms, customers who pre-book it offline will be given time slots to pick up their new iPhone from the store or can select to have it home delivered.

Cashback offer

HDFC Bank Card users get a cash-back of Rs.6000 for the iPhone 12 mini, while for iPhone 12 Pro Max, there is a cash back of Rs.5000.

To remind you, all the iPhones come with support for 5G, feature OLED Super Retina XDR displays with support for HDR and Dolby Vision, new Ceramic Shield protection with 4x better drop performance, are powered by A14 Bionic 5nm Chip and feature IP68 water resistance (6 meters for up to 30 minutes).

The iPhone 12 mini has a 12MP main camera that promises 27% improvement in low-light performance compared to last year’s iPhone 11 along with a 12MP ultra-wide secondary camera. The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 12MP f/1.6 aperture main camera with a 47% larger sensor with 1.7μm pixels for a massive 87% improvement in low-light conditions and Sensor-shift optical image stabilisation. It also includes the expansive 12MP Ultra Wide camera and a 65 mm focal length 12MP Telephoto camera for 5x optical zoom. All the cameras now have night mode and there is a new night mode time-lapse feature.

Apple will also start taking pre-orders for the Homepod Mini today priced at Rs. 9,900, with availability beginning the week of November 16.
