He seems to be on the mend: Jamie Foxx has been seen in public for the first time since his hospitalization. The US portal “TMZ” published video recordings showing the 55-year-old actor in a good mood and waving on a boat.

The Hollywood star was admitted to a Georgia hospital on April 12. At the time, his eldest daughter Corinne announced that there had been a “medical complication”. Since then, there has been much speculation about the American actor’s health.

Boat tour on Sunday

Footage now shows a cheerful Jamie Foxx out on a boat on the Chicago River on the afternoon of July 9th. It is said that he was accompanied by several friends or family members. When another boat passed him and the passengers cheered him on, he laughed and waved back. He wore an all-black outfit with aviator sunglasses for the weekend getaway.

“TMZ” also allegedly has pictures showing Foxx out and about in the greater Chicago area on Saturday night. The portal writes that he is “no less active on his feet” and “in a good mood” there too.

“I appreciate all the love”
