After teasers, Xiaomi today confirmed the launch of Mi QLED TV 4K in India on December 16th and will be sold on Flipkart in addition to Mi.com and Mi stores. The company introduced several QLED TV models in the Mi TV 5 Pro series in China back in November last year. In India it is planning to launch 55-inch QLED TV under ‘Make in India’ initiative.

In a teaser the company has confirmed that the Quantum Dot screen will support Dolby Vision, HDR 10+. It will support Dolby Audio and DTS-HD and will come with HDMI 2.1 connectivity. These will run Xiaomi’s own Patchwall technology on top of Android TV. The company recently rolled out new updates to PatchWall that brought 3 new features including an immersive carousel design, User Centre and Live TV.

We should get to know all the details including the price of Mi 55-inch QLED TV when it is launched officially next Wednesday.
