Samsung Galaxy S21 Unpacked event set for January 14 – All you need to know

After rumors, Samsung has officially scheduled Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event on January 14. Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra are expected at the event, and the invite says ‘Welcome to the Everyday Epic’ shows the new camera module. The phones are expected to feature a new design.

The Galaxy S21 in expected to come in Violet, Gray, White, and Pink, S21 Plus in Violet, Silver and Black and S21 Ultra in Silver and Black colours. The S21 and S21 Plus is expected to come in 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB versions and the S21 Ultra is expected to come in 12GB RAM with up to 512GB storage version depending on the market.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to support S-Pen, a first for the Galaxy S series, but will be sold as an optional accessory, and the company is rumoured to sell cases that will have an S Pen dock.

The Galaxy S21 5G is rumoured to start at 849 Euros (US$ 1039 / Rs. 75,899 approx.), Galaxy S21 Plus 5G at 1049 Euros (US$ 1284  / Rs. 93,065 approx.) and S21 Ultra at 1399 Euros (US$ 1715 / Rs. 1,24,905 approx.).

Samsung is also expected to introduce Galaxy Buds Pro along with the S21 series with 3D spatial audio and Active Noise cancellation (ANC) with 2 levels of ANC and four levels for an Ambient mode. It is also said to support voice detection, that will automatically lower the volume of the media when the buds detect that the user is talking. It is said to use its gyro-sensors to track head movement and utilize Dolby Atmos technology to provide an immersive sound experience to the listener.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2020 on January 14 starts at 10 a.m. EST (8:30PM IST). As usual Samsung offer live streaming on samsung.com and also has Unpacked countdown in AR on Facebook or Instagram.
