Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 smartphone in India on July 17th running MIUI 10.3 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). Xiaomi doesn’t follow any fixed update frequency for the MIUI Global Stable ROM but on an average, the Global Stable ROM is updated once in 30-45 days.

This post will help our readers in keeping track of MIUI updates for Redmi K20 (codename ‘davinci’).

  • [Jan 23, 2021]: Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12.0.7.0.QFJINXM with January Android security patch. The OTA update weighs 177MB in size. [Download Link]
  • [Oct 19, 2020]: Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12.0.5.0.QFJINXM with October Android security patch. The OTA update weighs 410MB in size, and brings optimization for Control center layout in landscape mode. [Download Link]

  • [Jun 29, 2020]: Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12 Stable update in India. The update comes as 12.0.1.0.QFJINXM and weighs 873MB in size.   • [Apr 14, 2020]: Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 11.0.3.0.QFJINXM with March Android security patch. The update weighs 485 MB in size and brings increased system security. A few users have reported that they encountered ‘Not enough space in cache partition‘ issue, which can be fixed by clearing data of updater app and deleting downloaded_rom folder from file manager.   • [Feb 25, 2020]: Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 11.0.2.0.QFJINXM with Android 10 and January 2020 Security after it stopped the MIUI 11.0.1.0 last motnh due to bugs. [Download Link]

Note that Xiaomi follows staged roll-out, so the updates are randomly pushed to a limited number of users and a broader roll-out usually takes a few days after the company makes sure there are no critical bugs.
